Atchison Unemployment Up
I read a great story in our local newspaper, The Atchison Globe (link below) What are your thoughts? How can we help our unemployed citizens?

My question regarding the article is what can Atchison do to attract new business to the area? Currently, there are very few opportunities for which to apply. Atchison is not short of people eager to work. It is merely short of companies to which they can apply. My husband and I both have to commute to Kansas City to find sustainable employment. What ideas do people have to encourage enterprise and organizational development to provide jobs for Atchison's unemployed?
