We need to study how we could consolidate some of the cost in the future. The conference centers viability is currently being studied. It has been discussed that excess space could be used for other functions. Project Concern has been discussed. The only way this could happen if the patrons of the Project Concern would agree. The space and parking at the conference center would have to be reworked. The Project Concern patrons would be a viable part of the planning. Actually they would have a nicer place. Center. I totally disagree. You know, I think alot of older people like having Project Concern in town. If it&#39;s moved, I wouldn&#39;t think they would readily drive over there, especially in the winter. They just aren&#39;t going to tackle that hill. Just because the Herritage Center is empty it&#39;s not a reason to up and move an established business. it&#39;s another dinasaur that I think needs to have NEW establishments moved there, not just move existing places around because it needs tenants. Plus, there would be another empty building in the downtown area. To me, the building isn&#39;t good for much except it&#39;s a place for weddings every once in awhile and they have the rotary meetings and such, but I&#39;m sure they could find another place to meet if they had to. I would think it would cost alot to heat and cool and upkeep for just those few things that go on there. I vote NO for the moving of Project Concern or any business for the purpose of filling up an empty space and leaving another empty space behind.
